Introduction

The 2021 SOUTHERN BRAZILIAN JOURNAL OF CHEMISTRY CONFERENCE is a cultural event organized by the Southern Brazilian Journal of Chemistry, the Periódico Tchê Química, and other partners to celebrate almost 30 years of the Southern Brazilian Journal of Chemistry.

The goal of the conference is to provide the authors a place to present multiple forms of scientific communications, such as poster presentation, the full manuscript publication, expanded abstract publication, and a pre-recorded poster presentation (up to 5 min long).

The structure of the conference is aimed to value the author's work and not their financial investment. Therefore, the more significant is the author's engagement in the conference, the lowest will be the financial investment. (to see more, please read the fees and discounts section)

Scientific Program (adjusted to 2022)


The conference will open on Fryday (March 18 2022) at 10:00 with the Opening Ceremony and a Plenary Lecture. Later, after lunch the reopening will start at 14:00 until 18:30 with different conferences and Invited Lectures. Fryday (March 18) will start at 10:00 with two a Plenary lectures. After lunch, the reopening will start at 14:00 until 18:30 with different Invited Lectures and short communications of the oral posters. (more lectures are being confirmed)

It is expected to close the CONFERENCE on Saturday 19, at 16:00, with the award ceremony and the selection of the articles that will be published in the Open Access Journal that will be free of charge.

It is important to note that due to the covid-19 pandemic, the conference website is under constant improvement and modification.

    Author' experience in the field: Industrial process implementation. The improvement in some quality standards analyzed as true color, COD and turbidity, was 99.36 %, 88.98 %, and 99.34%, respectively.
